Indexing your entire hard drive might sound like a good idea, but really, how often are there things there that you ever want to see and don't know what folder they're in? Maybe it works well for those with messed up folder names, but for the rest of us, it's obvious that the photos we took last year will be in with all the others in the "My Images" folder. What gets me is that all the indexing that goes on really causes a slow down in the general performance of your PC and I can't think of anything worse than a "convenience tool" that sucks life from your system.

The tools included can come in handy now and again, but I'd much prefer to download the firefox extensions that do the same thing with less fuss. Sorry Google

Best:

Catalogs your hard drive
Handy RSS feeds
Convenient

Worst:

Takes too much CPU
Gets in the way
Creates a strain on disk space
